Manuel’s is the best choice of authentic Mexican cuisine in Austin. The excellent staff is welcoming and I know them by name. My family and I go to Manuel’s for special occasions, but we most often go on the spur of the moment. Manuel’s menu reminds me of dishes that I grew up with since I was born in Mexico City. I loved the traditional dishes growing up. When we would go to restaurants, the waiters were very friendly and attentive. I love fountains and the entrance to Manuel’s brings back old memories. The owners and wait staff at Manuel’s are exceptional, in fact, reminiscent of my Mexican experience. My mother loved your flan. She also imitated your recipe at home, but it was not as good as yours. We love Manuel’s.
