Spanish conquistadors, who apparently ran out of their own brandy, decided to improve upon a beverage the local Aztecs made from blue agave — and thus was born our beloved Mexican tequila.
At Manuel's, the bar is half the story. Our signature 310 Margarita has been an Austin original for more than 40 years, poured alongside hand-shaken cocktails, skinny martinis, aguas frescas, Texas beers, a concise food-friendly wine list and one of the deepest tequila selections in North Austin.
